Description of the picture:

It is believed that on canvas “In the garden. Under the trees of the Moulins de la Galette »Renoir (1841-1919) portrayed his friends. The artist, as it were, accidentally casts a glance at the company at the table from behind the standing model. There is no action, the scene is ordinary and unpretentious. However, Renoir enthusiastically conveys the effect of sun glare that falls on a pink and striped dress model. Thanks to the lighting, the surface of the objects is streaked with light reflexes, the fabric of the dress, grass and foliage acquire a precious texture, and the whole picture as a whole sounds like a hymn to the joy of life, glorifies the uniqueness of each sunny day."

And all the best they did
